How Dressedly Works

First, go to the 'Account' page to set your preferences.
Next, go to the 'Me' page. Take a clear, full-body photo. Our AI will remove the background. This is your personal avatar.
Go to the 'Add' page. Put on an item of clothing and stand in the *same pose*. The app will use your 'Me' photo as a transparent overlay to help you line it up.
Draw around the item (e.g., your t-shirt), select its category, and let the AI process it.
Finally, visit your 'Wardrobe' (Home) to mix and match all your added items on your avatar!

Your Privacy & Data

We take your privacy seriously. Here’s exactly what happens with your data:

1. Your Photos

Your 'Me' photo and your clothing photos are considered private. When you upload them, they are processed by our AI background removal service (`rembg`). This processing happens automatically. Your original photos and the processed cutouts are stored securely in your private account folder on our server.

2. Use of Data (Disclaimer)

To improve the quality of our AI (the `rembg` model), some uploaded images (originals and cutouts) may be stored anonymously. This data is **fully disconnected from your account** and contains no personal information. It is used *only* by our internal team for debugging and training the model to improve cutout accuracy. Your photos will **never** be sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

3. Account Deletion

If you choose to delete your account (from the 'Account' page), your user profile and database entries are **immediately deleted**. Your stored photos (in the `user_data` folder) are moved to an internal 'trash' archive, disconnected from your account, and permanently deleted from our servers after a 30-day holding period.
